About HOPE

HOPE Ministries , is an initiative of few like minded Brethren, who also share the vision of facilitating refreshing, challenging Christian fellowship & missions. HOPE Ministries is administered by an Assembly Testimony in Central India. The Board constitutes of the Brethren drawn from Assembly Testimonies across India & Abroad. HOPE Ministries are run by volunteer leaders, who contribute their time and various gifts and abilities to God. HOPE Ministries was born out with a burden, vision & zeal to reach out to the perishing souls by like minded believers of the Assembly Testimonies in 2002. It’s a great privilege and honor to be associated with likeminded visionaries’ ever since its inception. Assisting the Assemblies in its growth & in the edification of saints is one of missions of HOPE Ministries .All our programs in every location are executed under the administration of the local Assembly Testimony.

Initiatives of HOPE

The initiative of this ministry can be outlined under three board categories

I. MEDIA / PUBLICATIONS

HOPE Ministries is involved in both electronic & print media. It initiates the largest email prayer chain network among the Brethren Community with a direct recipient base of 6500 plus subscribers. The subscriber & readership base all the publications evolve of to more.

1. Online Prayer Fellowship

HOPE is having an Internet based chain prayer initiative. Prayer requests received by us from prayer partners and different sources & media are complied & are being sent to thousands of Prayer Partners (email recipients) around the world. These e-newsletters are

a) Synopsis.

Synopsis is sent weekly as a Digest to a direct recipient base of 6500+ subscribers and carries in each edition, Praise & Prayer Items/ Christian News of the PERSECUTED / Articles of Edification among others.

b) Vineyard Voice

Vineyard Voice is reaching directly to more than 6600 online subscribers. It carries Mission Field News / Letters from Evangelists / Information from the Lord’s servant working in Lord’s vineyard. It caters to the need of the Lord’s Vineyard which is carried around the world for prayers.

2. Print Publication

Echoes n' Gleanings is the printed multilingual monthly magazine of this initiative. It carries Articles, Write-ups, Exhortations, Bible Studies, Testimonies, Poems, Stories and / or anything that can bring spiritual gain and encouragement to fellow believers. It is send by post for FREE !!

3. Bibleworld

Our web initiative is known as Bibleworld.in.This website is being developed as one stop place for believers of Asian region, where they get Christian resources in their own regional languages. This site also facilitates fellowship among users (believers) as a community. Visit & get updated on latest Christian News, Articles, Upcoming Events and other exciting features. We are still working on this project.

4. HOPE Audio-Visual Media

The multimedia arm of HOPE ministry involved in audio-visuals. Our desire is to involve in communicating the word of God through quality presentations, graphics, and audio-visuals.

FELLOWSHIP / MISSIONS

HOPE Ministries facilitate fellowship & missions through organizing a variety of activities in different locations with the triple aims of preparing leaders with practical essentials, promoting missions with insight and innovation, as well as providing inspiration for personal spiritual growth. We encourage people to look beyond to understand the relationship He has called us into and to cultivate a burden for missions.

1. FoR (Fellowship of Redeemed)

Fellowship of Redeemed is the campus based ministry. Fellowship of Redeemed (FoR) seeks to provide teens & young people with an identity as believers in Jesus Christ, a sense of belonging in the community and sharpen & focus their abilities for God’s glory. As of now FoR is having two chapters :

- Hosur (TN) - meets daily @ 8:30pm

- Bhopal (MP) - meets 1st & 3rd Sunday.

Soon we plan to start new chapters in other locations.

2. T2Y Club

Teens 2 Youth Club is the soul café of the online teens and youth. Its our desire at HOPE Ministries to have a responsible, empowered, self-reliant and caring community of Christian Teens and Youths. With this endeavor we have started an online teen-youth community.

3. Assembly Growth Programs (AGP)

The mission is always to share the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. We encourage believers to cultivate a burden for missions. Assembly Growth Programs is the arm which organizes events across the regions for the edification of saints and growth of Assemblies. We have an array of programs designed and executed by the team at HOPE Ministries like Conferences /Retreats (Camaraderie, Sangati), Gospel Seminars (Aarambh, Design), Gospel Festivals (Asha Utsav / Christmas Milan) among others. In 2008 we could by God’s grace organize events in Hosur (Camaraderie), Bhopal (Sangati) & NEPAL (Asha Utsav). Our upcoming programs include : Aarambh, Asha Utsav, Design, Atmik Netritav, IBC etc

EDUCATION / EDIFICATION

Theological understanding is needed by a believer to apply a Christian perspective and commitment to their life in the world, including their professional and vocational life. Our aim is to integrate theological reflection with the occupational and life interests of believers who join our educational initiatives. A vital and integral part of our education program is regular attendance at a local Assembly. Everyone is expected to take part in the services and activities and keep an open mind about what is taught and preached. The crux is that the local Assembly must be central in theological education, missions and the doing of theology in culture. Our theological curriculum has been prepared to bridge the gap between the Academy and the demands of ministry and life in the Church and in the wider world.

1. HATS

HOPE Ministries as per its mission to assist Assemblies in its growth is undertaking an educational initiative called HATS (HOPE Academy of Theology & Sciences). HATS provides the mind-stretching, heart-warming and life-changing training one need. HATS academic study prepares people for life in the ‘real world’. As of now HATS would offer 1 year residential integrated educational program. Successful completion of 1 year of integrated studies would entail students twin Diplomas :

* Diploma in Biblical Studies.

* Diploma in Office Management.

Curriculum for 1 year program is prepared & course monitored by highly acclaimed academicians & theologians. The twin diplomas aim to equip students in non-theological disciplines with the theological understandings needed to apply a Christian perspective and commitment to their life in the world, including their professional and vocational life.
Presently there are 9 students from Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa & MP enrolled and studying at the Bhopal Campus.

2. Bibleworld Theology Program (BTP)

BTP is the HATS distance education program which brings in Self-directed learning and the skills associated with it and can provide a base for continuous learning throughout. Our distance / online educators facilitate the learning by assisting the learner to develop a learning covenant that fits all the requirements of individual and the local church. The BTP courses are designed for advanced or independent study. Our theological curriculum has been prepared to bridge the gap between the Academy and the demands of ministry and life in the Church and in the wider world.

All activities organized by HOPE Ministries are run by volunteer leaders, who contribute their time and various gifts and abilities to God. Apart from the Board, HOPE Ministries also has Advisory Board which consists of Christian leaders drawn across the Brethren Community from India & Abroad.
